Sun BeamI've had the honor to be a part of Bryan Vue's Production Team for his upcoming movie The Stranger in which I take behind the scenes photos. This spot was one of the locations where we were shooting.
Turkey Run State ParkThe journey was amazing, the views were breathtaking but my favorite part of this whole state park was to turn around and see the sun peeking through the trees above and spilling onto this pathway. My shoes did get ruined after this trail but it was all worth it for the photos I got from this hike.
Chicago UniversityChicago's University has got to be hands down one of the most beautiful campuses I've had the opportunity to explore. I was so in love with the history and nature that seemed like it was taking over the school. Of course, after this exploration, I ended up photographing a wedding there too :)
DuluthAlmost every year I visit Duluth, the trip in which I took this image was the start of that yearly visit. My sister decided to take my nieces and I to explore Duluth just to get a breather from the pressures of the world. Although we were only there for a day, I fell in love with the wind blowing in my hair and the lake view.
WinonaThis was an impulsive trip after I had gotten my license, I went to Winona where my sister was attending school with another sister and our niece. This photograph was taken when we were crossing the road after the rain, it was one of those warm rainy days and the sun was setting. I just remember feeling peaceful when I took this photo.
Glowing AlgaeSo this image is upside down but it looks so much more interesting upside down. This was taken in Winona as my sister was taking us through her school. I was observing the fish tank as my sister was talking about the history of the school and as soon as the light from the fish tank caught my eyes, I zoned her out and got this.
Siren, WiI love mrs. dease's cabin and I'm so lucky to call her my god mother. Almost every year since I've graduated highschool, I've been able to go relax there with her and just catch up with life. We enjoy going out on her platoon and just watching the sunset.
Winter in MenogynThe Boundary Waters has got to be one of the most therapeutic places for me. I was exposed to Menogyn after two of my friends committed suicide and I had an amazing mentor Sovatha Oum who invited me here where they both spent their time at. It was a healing process for me and it also made me appreciate life more.
Como ZooI grew up constantly at the Zoo where my love of animal and nature began. I'm so thankful for the Zoo being free as my immigrant mother couldn't afford many places to take us to explore so the Zoo was always the 'go-to' whenever we wanted to get out of the house.
SparklersMy cousins and I decided to play with long exposure on my camera with the sparklers, it was a day to be remembered as we were having so much fun until the rain came in.
San FransiscoI vaguely remember taking this photo because I was so cold. I just wanted to snap away so I would have some photos to remember San Fran since we would only be there for a night.
Siren, WiThe lake is a lot bigger, so this is the second part of the lake as Mrs. Dease and I floated back towards her dock.
Lake MichiganA stop after crossing the bridge from Canada, I also get car sick really easily so this view was a really nice breather from our adventures in Canada.
Night LightI've had the honor to be a part of Bryan Vue's Production Team for his upcoming movie The Stranger in which I take behind the scenes photos. This spot was one of the locations where we were shooting.
Look at the StarsI don't spend enough time laying down, taking a breather and just taking in the beauty of the night sky and stars. So....to make up for it, I took a long exposure photograph to remind myself the beauty of the night sky that'll remind me of the peace it brings to me.
Morning FogThe road trip to Portland Oregon was one of the most beautiful paths that I've ever crossed.
Thailand Hillside Vendors
The Queen's PalaceOur tourguides took us to visit the Queen's palace in Thailand, I'm not exactly sure what these are but I figured it might have been the king and queen (not exactly sure if they are cremated or not) but it would have made sense why it was sitting there.
Sea Side HomesThe journey to Phi Phi Island in Thailand
Foggy ConservatoryMy favorite moments in Como Zoo Conservatory is when the water sprinklers turn on and for a moment, everything looks foggy. It's like you've been transported to another world.
New York CityTaken in the early morning where traffic is less busy, it just reminds me that even the busiest of places has a moment of silence
Fly AwayI consider myself so lucky to be having my phone out and being able to capture these birds before they all flew away.
Split RockCalifornia is beautiful, I loved every stop we stopped at but this had to be one of my all time favorite locations. While traveling on this path, I felt like Alice in Wonderland, exploring and not knowing what beautiful views I would come upon.
Yellow StoneThis view was sort of inception for me as the patterns below seemed like a little earth itself.
Natural StairwayI have a love for stairways and I love it even more when it's surrounded by beauty.
Sun Ray SparkleEvening sunset in Grand Marais with my Menogyn group since we were unable to go to up to the Boundary Waters, we decided to spend the weekend in Grand Marais instead.
Table of a Qeej MakerExploring China, we were able to meet a traditional Qeej maker who allowed us into his workspace. The lighting was dim in this corner but it was the most fascinating area for me as it was where the maker would sit most of his time to get into the details of creating the qeej.
Riding ViewI wasn't sure if this image would turn out but I really loved the scene I was seeing. This was taken in the car as we were passing by these beautiful fields.
Cars First, Pedestrians SecondMy first trip abroad was a culture shock, in China, we learned that cars had the right away, pedestrians came in second. It was completely different from the United States where pedestrians are first and cars come in second. I did, however, enjoy watching all these bikers and motorcyclists drive by since we don't have many cyclists in the suburbs.
